The French National Centre for Scientific Research (French: Centre national de la recherche scientifique, CNRS) is the French state research organisation and is the largest fundamental science agency in Europe
Coordinated by Bruno Goud (CNRS - Institut Curie), the Convergences Q-Life Institute brings together 70 teams within PSL to study living systems and predict the future of organisms.
The French Society for Cell Biology (SBCF) is the French pool of students and researchers in the domain of Cell Biology. From communicating about the latest breakthroughs to announcing upcoming events, the SBCF also digs up new talents and financially supports young researchers to help them assert their presence in the field. The Society's goal is to promote the scientific area, and be the reference for French research in Cell Biology abroad. The Labex Who Am I? is an interdisciplinary project bringing together teams of biologists, physicists, psychoanalysts, historians and philosophers of science around the central question of identity. Together, we are exploring the determinants of identity at various scales (chemical, molecular, cellular and social) using collaborative approaches. Launched in 2012 and renewed in 2020, the Who Am I? Laboratory of Excellence is an ambitious project that aims to address the fundamental question of the basis of identity. To this end, it involves around a hundred research teams, representing a total of 1,200 people, grouped together in 7 partner units. It is co-coordinated by Claire ROUGEULLE (biologist, Centre Epigénétique et Destin Cellulaire) and Benoît LADOUX (physicist, Institut Jacques Monod). |
